The same preferences get re-asked on every trip: window or aisle, which hotel chain, whether basic economy is ever acceptable. None of it changes trip to trip, but without a place to hold it, it gets rebuilt from scratch, or worse, guessed at.
This dashboard splits the two things travel actually requires into two tabs. The Traveler Profile holds what stays constant, identity details, flight and hotel preferences, loyalty program numbers, booking rules like budget caps and which card to use, filled in once and touched again only when something changes. The Trip Log holds what doesn’t: every trip gets its own row, tracked through six stages from Planning to Booked, with a link straight to the receipt or trip folder so confirmation numbers aren’t buried in an inbox.
Skip the profile and every trip starts from zero. The dashboard exists so the fifth trip takes as little digging as the first one should have.
